Synergistic Research Atmosphere Excite SX RCA Interconnect

Synergistic Research Atmosphere Excite SX RCA Interconnect

The Atmosphere Excite SX RCA Interconnect is a premium unbalanced RCA analogue cable from Synergistic Research's Atmosphere SX family, developed for carefully matched high-fidelity audio systems. It brings the manufacturer's proprietary conductor and shielding technologies to the connection between compatible source equipment and downstream electronics.

Manufacturer construction and technology

Excite SX RCA interconnects use two fourth/fifth-generation Tricon Silver Matrix conductor geometries alongside two hand-built AirString geometries containing 99.9999% monocrystalline silver in a sealed air dielectric. Synergistic Research applies long-duration high-frequency conditioning developed for its SRX series, with carbon-fibre UEF discs integrated into shielding and connector areas. The manufacturer also describes a UEF Ground Plane connection for compatible grounding equipment and a Gold SX tuning module intended to adjust the manufacturer's preferred sonic voicing.

Key features

• Tricon Silver Matrix conductors with PTFE insulation
• Monocrystalline silver AirString conductors in sealed air dielectric
• UEF carbon-fibre tuning discs and manufacturer conditioning process
• Gold SX tuning module system as described for Excite interconnects
• Compatible UEF Ground Plane grounding arrangement
• Choose the displayed 1m or 1.5m variant to suit your installation

What does it connect?

The cable is designed as a stereo analogue pair for equipment with compatible RCA line-level outputs and inputs. It is distinct from a single coaxial S/PDIF digital connection and from a low-output cartridge phono lead. Optional shield grounding requires the correct lead and a suitable Synergistic Research Ground Block.

Choosing the right configuration

Confirm the interface, source and destination sockets, connector orientation and required length before ordering. Kronos AV can check the full system and quote specialist terminations or additional lengths where offered. The available Shopify variants show the published UK configurations and prices inclusive of VAT.

Common questions

Will it work with every similarly shaped socket? No. The electrical interface must also be compatible. Will it automatically improve sound quality? Synergistic Research describes claimed sonic benefits from its UEF technologies; actual results will depend on the complete system, electrical environment and installation.
