PAYING HOMAGE TO A CLASSIC

The Pro-Ject 1 and 2 were big milestones for minimalistic design and sound quality, but designed for the entry Hi-Fi market. One of Pro-Ject's most important product was their first high-end turntable in the 90’s: The Pro-Ject 6.9 and the Pro-Ject 6.9 Perspective. With this turntable we changed the game plan and followed a new philosophy.

Pro-Ject are very happy to bring back this beautiful nostalgic turntable with a lot of their history in its veins. This "Final Edition“ is limited to 400 pieces and is sold with a personalized owners certificate.

EFFECTIVE DESIGN PRINCIPLES

The tonearm and the platter are mounted on a sub chassis which is isolated with from the main chassis with springs. Therefore, vibrations cannot travel to the needle and influence the audio transcription. Furthermore, the motor is isolated from the cartridge and vibration can not influence the pickup process. The result is a more open and rhythmic sound.

HIGH-END FEATURES THROUGHOUT

The super stiff, but lightweight 9" one piece carbon tonearm delivers an insane sound quality with a convincing sound stage.

The Final Edition of the Perspective also comes factory-fitted with an Ortofon 2M Bronze Cartridge. The slim profile of the Fine Line stylus will track even the highest frequency information, and the high-output of the cartridge allows for simple pairing with your chosen phono preamp.
