Matrix Audio MS-1c Music Streamer

The Matrix Audio MS-1c brings the engineering philosophy of the M Series to a premium network music streamer. It combines Matrix Audio's Linux-based MA Player operating system with a high-performance AKM VELVETSOUND DAC, allowing the MS-1c to serve as a complete analogue music source or as a digital transport for an external DAC.

High-resolution AKM conversion

Its AK4191 and AK4499EX DAC architecture handles PCM audio up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD up to 24.58MHz. LUNDAHL audio transformers are employed in the analogue signal path, while dual femtosecond clocks and FPGA-based timing optimisation support precise digital processing.

Connect to your chosen system

Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue outputs are joined by optical, coaxial, AES/EBU, IIS-LVDS and USB DAC digital outputs, providing flexibility with power amplifiers, active speakers and external converters. The analogue output level can be adjusted to suit the connected equipment.

Network music and local libraries

Control the system with the MA Remote app and integrate network and local music sources. The MS-1c supports expandable SSD storage for a personal music library.
