Lowther Fidelio Horn Loaded Floorstander Loudspeaker

The Fidelio was one of our most popular designs and we had to include it in our heritage collection.

These loudspeakers are relatively compact in size for their performance. They have a 'direct', clean studio-like presentation when paired with our DX drive units when compared to our larger front-loaded horns.

The Fidelio has a rear facing bass horn & tuned-slot incorporating the 'Bicor' principle (tuned port as a sub-assembly).

Care in room positioning is needed to ensure best performance - corners may re-enforce the lower bass with this design, but a 'clean' response may be hard to achieve in small rooms, especially if square dimensionally. Despite it's apparent modest footprint size, the deep front-to-back cabinet dimension plus the required distance from the back wall needs to be taken into consideration.

We recommend rooms 20sq.m and above for the Fidelio Mark III to perform at their peak.
