An upgrade from the entry level KT-50, our KT-100 turntable still suits our small format size but boasts the superior TALK A5 Carbon uni-pivot tonearm.

Aiming to fill a variety of price points before launching Kestrel Audio, we had to decide upon the range and the KT-100 was our solution to supply the option of a slightly more compact plinth, for those with tighter set ups, whilst not necessarily having to lose out on any significant performance. It comes fitted with the same specification of machined parts as the KT-50, however the real difference between the two becomes very clear when you look at the tonearm. Wielding a carbon fibre 12mm arm tube matched with the acetal sub-platter and 10mm acrylic platter the KT-100 is noticeably superior partner to any audiophile still wanting an captivating experience . The A5 Carbon tonearm is the same as what you would see on the Edwards Audio TT4 and TT5, as well as our KT-200, which have all been awarded very highly for their amazing performance, including the TT4 winning German LP magazines ‘Product of the Year’ in 2021. With 9 finishes to choose from ranging from sleek black, to warm Oak or Walnut, to the vibrant end of the spectrum with Yellow and Red (amongst others) we have something for everyone.

As with the KT-50 we now include electronic speed change, instead of manual belt change as prior, for the same £699.95 price for our KT-100. We hope this improvement shows how much we value our customers needs and our care to make an easy to use, high performance product. This can be found in the rear case along with the power button and RCA sockets/Ground terminal. We are also now offering an in built phono stage option with our KT-50 and KT-100 which costs an additional £49.95 retail for those who may require it.

PLEASE NOTE the KT-100 does not come fitted with a cartridge, however Zephyr C50 and C100 cartridges may be available upon request subject to availability.

As our entry level turntable we found it important to meet customers needs in terms of performance as this may be a turntable you look to after only just starting your journey as an audiophile, however we also wanted to assure that the tone was set from the start of the range of our high expectations and standards. With no less than 9 coloured or wood finishes to choose from the KT-50, suiting the A1 uni-pivot arm including vertical tonearm adjustment collar (VTA) and high accuracy machined parts such as our sub platter machined from military grade acetal plastic proves those high standards. Performance is extremely important to us and we believe for the price the KT-50 truly provides a complex sound which any person would be impressed by for the money. Furthermore to compliment the already outstanding standard of this turntable, the ease of use and simplicity of functionality that the TALK A1 arm delivers finalises the well rounded attributes of the KT-50, with the adjustable lift lower device and VTA you will never struggle to find the perfect set up for yourself.
