Indiana Line: A Legacy of Audio Excellence

Since 1977, Indiana Line has established itself as a prominent Italian audio brand, committed to a fundamental goal: combining high-quality craftsmanship with rational component use. The brand’s current lineup primarily features loudspeakers and installation speakers, with the top-of-the-line Diva series representing the pinnacle of this philosophy, blending refined design with solid construction and exceptional sound reproduction.

Diva Series: The Pursuit of Perfection

The Diva series embodies Indiana Line's continuous pursuit of perfection. These speakers feature mechanically and acoustically stable cabinets with a stylish finish, making them a perfect fit for any interior. The front panel is lacquered (white or black, depending on the color option), while the rest of the cabinet is covered in PVC veneer.

Diva 6: A New Standard in Sound Reproduction

The Diva 6 is a 3-way floor-standing speaker that sets new standards for sound fidelity within the Indiana Line brand and the wider speaker market. It boasts exceptional voltage efficiency for its size, effectively filling spaces with sound even at low volume levels.

• Sturdy Enclosure: The enclosure is made of MDF board with a 30 mm thick, backward-tilted front panel, which enhances mechanical stability and prevents unwanted resonances.¹ The interior is reinforced with four cross supports and a sealed chamber for the midrange driver, preventing internal vibrations from affecting the enclosure walls. The speaker rests on sturdy aluminum legs with rubber vibration isolators, and a magnetically attached grille adds to its attractive design.

• Enhanced Transducers: The Diva 6 uses four Curv membrane drivers—three for low frequencies and one for mid-range—all specifically optimized for this model. These transducers feature ferrite magnetic circuits, and their baskets have smoother ribbing to reduce air resistance. The Dual-Wave suspension works seamlessly with the baskets, ensuring both optimal function and aesthetics.

• Low-Frequency Processing: Three 150 mm low-frequency drivers with long, 15-millimeter coils and aluminum rings handle bass.² They are the most powerful drive units used in Indiana Line's floor-standing speakers, allowing for large, linear membrane excursions. The total volume of air they displace is comparable to or greater than that of the previous generation's Diva 660, which used larger woofers.

• Specially Designed Midrange: The 150 mm midrange transducer is housed in a dedicated, dampened enclosed chamber, isolated from the bass reflex system. It features a strong 90 mm ferrite magnet, a short 9-millimeter coil, and a copper shorting ring, which ensures low inductance and a wide SPL characteristic.
• High-Frequency Transducer: The 26 mm silk dome tweeter is also used in other new-generation Diva models.³ It features a radial damping chamber to counteract resonances and a rubberized aluminum front panel, which widens the soundstage. The tweeter is tuned with air coils and foil capacitors to ensure excellent homogeneity with the midrange speaker.

Diva 3: Refined Bookshelf Design

The Diva 3 is a versatile 2-way bookshelf speaker, ideal for smaller rooms. It incorporates many of the same improvements found in the Diva series, including a 25 mm thick front panel that enhances mechanical stability and sound clarity. A front-facing bass reflex port allows for close-to-wall placement.

Tesi Series: Universal and Cohesive

The Tesi series offers a universal and cohesive design, with a focus on realistic and precise sound reproduction. The speakers feature internally reinforced MDF enclosures, subtly rounded upper edges, and magnetically attached grilles.

Tesi 7: Optimized for Home Theatre

The Tesi 7 is a 2-way central speaker optimized for dialogues and narrator voices in movies. It draws inspiration from the flagship Diva series, incorporating innovative solutions and components.

• Universal Design: The Tesi 7 maintains a simple and universal form, with a bass reflex port located at the back for flexible placement.

• Improved Transducers: The two 160 mm low-midrange transducers feature a rigid polypropylene membrane blended with mica, enlarged magnetic systems, and an aluminum ring to linearize inductance. Phase correctors have been replaced with dust caps, and bass processing has been optimized for more dynamic bass and clearer voices.

• Dual-Wave Suspension: The midwoofers utilize the Dual-Wave upper suspension, a solution first introduced in the Diva series.⁶ This design enhances the linear operating range, minimizes intermodulation distortion, and improves clarity in the mid-range—particularly beneficial for dialogues.

• High-Frequency Transducer: The 26 mm tweeter with a radial damping chamber and a powerful neodymium magnet is a key feature.⁷ Unlike its predecessor, the Tesi 7's tweeter has a rectangular front, visually harmonising with the symmetrically placed midwoofers
• Perfectly Designed Crossover: The crossover has been optimised using modern design methods and shares the same topology and component quality as the Diva series. This ensures a smooth impedance characteristic, high efficiency, and optimal off-axis sound dispersion, making the Tesi 7 compatible with any home theatre receiver.
