Grado Lineage Epoch4 Moving Iron Cartridge

The Grado Epoch4 represents the pinnacle of the Lineage Series. Handmade around a carefully engineered Brazilian ebony body, its low-output moving-iron system is designed for exceptional control, spatial definition and a natural musical balance. A nude Shibata diamond on a sapphire cantilever follows the groove with precision, while a gold-plated high-purity copper signal path supports the cartridge's refined presentation.

Reference-level moving-iron design

Unlike conventional moving-coil designs, the Grado flux-bridger generator uses a moving-iron element with fixed coils. The Epoch4 is a low-output model and needs an appropriately matched high-gain phono stage.
