The Acoustic Signature MCX-4 moving-coil cartridge is designed to extract the fine information pressed into a vinyl record. It combines a nude shibata stylus with gold-plated oxygen-free copper coils and a precision-engineered aluminium body.
Stylus and motor design
The Nude Shibata stylus profile is paired with a low-output moving-coil generator and an aluminium chassis shaped for controlled resonance. This cartridge requires a suitable MC phono input or an appropriate step-up solution.
