1. Find the product you want...

Choose the product you want, then simply click, "yes, I would like to trade in my old item" from the drop down menu. Then you can proceed to the checkout as normal and complete your purchase

2. You will receive an email...

Once you complete your purchase you will receive a confirmation email for your order, and a separate email which will let you know where to send your trade in too. 

3. Pack up your old item and send it to us...

All that is left for you to do is pack up your trade in item, and send it to the address stated in the email. Once you have done that, your work is finished. We can take it from there!

4. Once we receive your trade in, we ship out your new item...

As soon as your trade in arrives, we will ship out your brand new item. unfortuantly we do have to wait for your trade in to arrive before we are allowed to ship your order, but we try and keep things moving a quickly as possible so you can sit back and enjoy your new purchase as soon as possible!

Its really simple!

2) Select the " Yes I would like to trade in my old item " and it will display the discount available. ( This can vary between products)

3) Follow the checkout to complete you order

4) You will receive an email which will let you know where to send your old item. 

5) Once we receive your old item, we will get your brand new item on its way to you

6) Sit back and enjoy your purchase!



    2. What can I trade in? 

    The answer to that question is fairly straight forward... pretty much anything! (HiFi or HomeCinema related of course) The idea of the scrappage scheme is that it allows customers to trade in anything, you can trade in any thing from the list below (any condition, age, brand, working or broken)

    • Speakers 
    • Amplifiers (integrated, AV, Pre or Power Amps)
    • Turntables
    • Cartridges
    • Tonearms
    • CD Players/ Tranports
    • Cables (mains, speaker, interconnect, optical, HDMI etc...) 
    • DAC's / Streamers
    • Headphones

    3. Where do I send my trade in?

    You can send your trade in to either of our stores. The addresses and details can be found on our contact page or by clicking here

    All you have to do is add your invoice number to your parcel so we can match it to your order, and as soon as it arrives, we will send out your new purchase. 

    It is that simple!  


      4. How do I send my trade in?

      It's actually really easy. So once you have boxed u your old item, its best to try and get the boxes dimensions and also its weight. Then there are a number of services and couriers that offer services to send your items. Some servies such as MyHermes allow you to leave your parcel off at drop ponts, or one of the most popular ways are customers liek to send there parcels is via Parcel Monkey (https://www.parcelmonkey.co.uk/)

      Parcel Monkey allows you to input your weight and dimensions, and then offers prices from a range of different couriers. It also gives you options which offer pick up, or which allow you to drop your parcel off at drop off points such as Post Offices etc... 

      Other customers like to use Royal Mail, by simply visiting your nearest branch and sending your parcel with very little fuss!

      5. Why can't Kronos pick up my old item when delivering my new one? 

      Unfortunately this is a very difficult thing for us to do. We can't normally do third party pick ups, and also its very hard to get the same courier to deliver and pick up, so it becomes very expensive and complicated to work this way, with multiple couriers having to deliver and another collect, arranging times with customers etc... it all becomes very messy. With the customer shipping the item back it makes the process much quicker, allows us to process your order quicker, and helps to make sure the transaction runs as smoothly as possible. 

      6. Can I still apply for finance if I use the scrappage scheme?

      Yes! You can still apply for finance even if you use the scrappage scheme. At the checkout you will be able to select the finance options available, you can select what is best for you and continue throughout the checkout as normal. If the finance is approved, you will receive an email to let you know, and then you can send your item back to us, and then we can send out your brand new item. 

      If the finance options outlined don't work for you, please always get in touch as we may be able to do longer repayment lengths etc... at special request :)
