Melodika Sky Blue Digital Coaxial RCA Audio Cable

Melodika Sky Blue Digital Coaxial RCA Audio Cable. For compatible coaxial digital outputs and inputs; do not confuse with a pair of analogue stereo RCA leads.

Key features

• One RCA connection at each end
• coaxial digital-audio family
• various lengths.

Technical specifications

Which cable should I choose?

Select the correct connector format and allow adequate length for cable routing and access to equipment. Electrical compatibility, suitable conductor gauge and correct installation matter more than claims of universal sonic improvement.

Frequently asked questions

Does the length apply to the complete cable?

The chosen length applies to each cable assembly or to each lead in a stereo pair, where the product title says pair.

Can Kronos AV help with compatibility?

Yes. Speak with our team to confirm connectors, wire terminations and system requirements before ordering.

Understanding the design

RCA cables are commonly used between analogue line-level sources and amplifiers. A stereo RCA pair carries separate left and right channels, whereas a single coaxial RCA cable can be intended for a digital or mono signal; match the interface, not just the plug shape.

Using it in a Hi-Fi system

Typical connections include a DAC or CD player feeding an integrated amplifier, or a preamplifier driving a suitable power amplifier. A standard line-level interconnect is different from a turntable phono connection with its particular gain and grounding requirements.

Choosing the right length or connection

Measure the space behind the rack and choose a length that avoids cable strain. Make sure the source output and amplifier input use the matching signal format and socket configuration.

Melodika lists a 5-year series warranty for Sky Blue, subject to the manufacturer's current terms.

A question worth asking

Does a different connector automatically sound better? No. The interface must match the equipment, and reliable signal transfer is the primary requirement.
