The 211 has the ability to incorporate up to 3 Tonearms which can be added at any time. This allows a brilliant upgrade path as well as well as the option to use mono or 78 Cartridges. It also allows you to use a second tonearm fitted with cheaper cartridges at times to help save the lifespan of your more expensive cartridge which can be used only when needed.

This also gives you the option to use both a 9 inch and 12 inch tonearm. 

The 111 Metal New comes with the Acoustic Solid WTB370 tonearm and cartridge combo as standard.
