Titan Audio announce the new Nyx Mains Cable

UK based firm, Titan Audio have added to their range,  with the announcement last week of the highly anticipated Nyx Mains Cable. Designed mainly for power amplifiers and integrated amplifiers, the Nyx is Titan Audio's "entry level" high current mains cable, stepping in below the hugely regarded, and multi-award-winning Helios. The NYX is priced at £100 (1M) so is an effective way to drag more out of your amplifiers, without a huge investment. 

The Nyx also offers a fantastic upgrade for anyone already using the Styx Mains Block, which benefits hugely from a high current cable (Get better power delivery to the block, then the block can supply better power to your components, simple really!) So having the option to have a block and cable package for £250 is a very appealing set up indeed, and you only have to read the reviews to see why its a worthy investment.

The Nyx is a three core OFC copper cable with a braided shield but with 3.5 times the number of conductors and half the resistance of the Styx. Unlike other cables, it not only features very high-quality conductors and a quality sheath but it also features a very high-quality mains plug and specially designed wattage IEC with red copper internal plated pins. For the UK version, we are using the very highly rated UK manufactured Permaplug with a high-quality busmann fuse. In the case of the Euro and US models, we are using a specially designed gold plated mains plug. All plugs are also cryogenically treated which most manufacturers usually charge a premium for.

 

So it looks like the Nyx could be a real show stopper, and we have already planned to do a  full review, which we will bring to you soon, so watch this space...
