The Otello represents the "entry level" fixed coil cartridge in the Soundsmith range and offers customers an inexpensive entrance into the Soundsmith catalogue. One of the fantastic things about Soundsmith cartridges is the inexpensive retipping service which is available directly from the Soundsmith factory. At around 30% of the cartridge cost (prices do vary), this means you have a cartridge that has the potential to grace your system with stunning music reproduction for years to come.
