That dedication has always resonated with us, and we are incredibly excited to share that their commitment to analog excellence is about to get even stronger.
Today marks both a major milestone and a brilliant new beginning for the brand. Acoustic Solid has officially been acquired by the GVR Audio Group and will operate moving forward as Acoustic Solid International B.V. Under the expert leadership of Peter van Reijmersdal and Joost van den Bosch, the brand is stepping into its next chapter with renewed ambition and significantly expanded manufacturing capabilities.
We are especially thrilled because the core values that have defined Acoustic Solid for three decades—uncompromising precision, massive aluminium construction, and stunning handcrafted finishes—remain completely intact. What is changing is their capacity to take those values further than ever before.
As part of this transition, a massive investment is being made into their production infrastructure. The integration of state-of-the-art 5-axis CNC technology is going to elevate their manufacturing precision to an entirely new level. Coupled with newly developed polishing and surface treatment processes, the finish of these instruments is set to establish a higher benchmark across the industry. These are far more than just cosmetic upgrades; they reflect a fundamental commitment to ensuring that every turntable leaving their facility exceeds the already exacting standards our customers expect.
