YBA Genesis Pre 5 Preamplifier/DAC

The very latest in Bluetooth technology is incorporated into this product - it is of the highest possible standard, supporting the aptX audio transfer protocol. The inclusion of Bluetooth sets the focus for the exciting Genesis range. Bluetooth is not all the PRE5 offers as there are in fact 8 different input options. Those options include AES/EBU, Optical, Coaxial, BNC, USB, and Bluetooth, together with 2 RCA and 1 Balanced analog input. There is also a selection of outputs with 2 RCA, 1 Balanced plus 1 digital. Using Bluetooth is very simple. Having connected the antenna(supplied) and selecting Bluetooth from the input menu, check to see that your device (phone/tablet etc.) has Bluetooth switched on. It will then find the product. You may have several Bluetooth options appear, simply select Genesis PRE 5 and it will immediately pair. That is all there is to it - go to your music menu and start enjoying the quality Genesis brings. If you prefer to use the USB option then a driver needs to be downloaded to your PC. That too is simple - a disc is included with the PRE5 but in the event you misplace it you can download the driver from the download area of this site. Once downloaded you will recognise the file as SPDIF Out Genesis PRE5. The PRE5 incorporates three traditional YBA toggle switches, one for phase and two to control volume up or down.
