The Fezz Equinox Prestige EVO is a balanced vacuum tube digital-to-analogue converter designed for listeners who want digital music to sound natural, spacious and emotionally engaging. Developed under licence from Lampizator, it combines Fezz’s valve audio expertise with a classic Burr-Brown PCM1794 conversion stage and a twin 12AU7 valve output section.

The Prestige version adds balanced XLR outputs alongside standard RCA outputs, making it a strong match for higher-end systems with balanced pre-amplifiers, integrated amplifiers or active speakers. Its USB, coaxial and optical inputs allow it to connect to computers, streamers, CD transports and other digital sources with ease.

A key part of the Equinox Prestige EVO’s appeal is its accessible valve stage. The two 12AU7 valves can be reached through the sliding top-panel window, allowing experienced users to fine-tune the sound through compatible valve changes if desired. With a dedicated Supreme class toroidal transformer and Fezz’s distinctive finish options, it is a serious DAC for systems where musicality matters as much as detail.
