Cayin iDAP-6 Digital Audio Player - Type UK

The new iDAP-6 Type UK connects via Bluetooth 4.1 to smartphones, tablets or PCs. With its intuitive graphical user interface, its colour 3.95-inch AMOLED screen allows for easy control of a remote wireless music source. Its multi-function knob allows you to navigate through the numerous menus by turning and pressing.

Thanks to duplex Bluetooth, the Cayin iDAP-6 can also wirelessly control headphones. The 24 cm wide desktop device has numerous digital outputs: USB, Toslink, coaxial (RCA and BNC) and balanced (AES / EBU). The iDAP-6 even supports the hitherto non-standard I 2 S process via HDMI, which enables perfectly synchronized exchange of audio data with future devices.

But not only convenient Bluetooth playback was the focus of the developers. The Cayin iDAP-6 also accepts native DSD 256 or PCM up to 32bit / 384kHz via its LAN input and can handle a wide range of audio formats from FLAC to WAV and AIFF to SACD ISO or AAC. Of course, you can also connect a USB hard drive to the streaming player. With Wi-Fi, you can also integrate the iDAP-6 into the network wirelessly.

As far as its intrinsic values are concerned, it has an extremely precise crystal oscillator with jitter values below 0.1 ps. Therein lies a key to the extremely clean, natural sound. The rest is provided by the elaborate power supply with an in-house wound coil transformer and high-quality electrolytic capacitors from the Japanese specialist Nichicon. With this, the new addition iDAP-6 expands the immense possibilities of the i-series by Cayin with numerous desirable features.
