Based on our Hyper 3.5 but with an increased conductor diameter, improving performance capability, especially over longer lengths.
Perhaps best considered the ‘long-wheelbase’ version of our Hyper 3.5 platform, offering a step-up in overall performance with improved bass accuracy and control. Hyper Achromatic Speaker 5.0 is particularly optimised for use in longer cable runs.
The quality of the 5.0mm² OFC copper conductors and high-efficiency PTFE dielectric allow Hyper to reveal more of the performance level of which your equipment is capable.
Cold-weld factory termination is with our Achromatic non-magnetic Z plugs, eliminating any possible detrimental effects from magnetic eddy currents. OFC spades are available as a termination option. Precision-calibrated cold-weld termination gives a more consistent connection with improved reliability and increased signal continuity over conventional solder fixing.
Available factory-terminated in Z (Z-plug) or S (spade) versions.

Achromatic Z
Our proprietary Beryllium Achromatic Z Plug is a low-mass, self-cleaning, solder-free construction speaker plug. These cables can also be supplied with an OFC spade tag option at one or both ends, please specify when ordering.
OFC
OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) was developed based on research that sound quality was related to the quality of copper and the processing used during cable manufacture.
PEF
Microporous PTFE (Teflon™) is a unique, low density dielectric material, phase stable at room temperature, which offers significant performance improvements over solid PTFE (Teflon™) dielectric designs.
Twin-core flat
A pair of identically matched conductors (one for signal path, the other acts as the return conductor) enclosed within a flat PVC sheath.
