The LAN port on the Hi-Fi brings new challenge to power supply.
To playback digital music or high resolution music, network player needs to handle about 200MB - 1GB data for DSD format music in 5 minutes.
The working frequency is at least 1,000 times that a normal linear power can handle.
F1 is the solution to high frequency nature of network for 5V powered network devices (such as: Bonn N8), network audio player, Raspberry Pi board, etc.
The shell of F1 consists of high-quality-thick material to reduce vibration of transformer.

Toroidal-symmetric Transformer

Low Noise MOSFET Parallelled
MOSFET (Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor) is a vital component for F1 to control voltage output.
As MOSFET controls output by adjusting the gate voltage, its gate drive circuit is less complex than BJT’s base drive circuit.
As a result of less complex design, the switching frequency of MOSFET is higher than BJT’s, which supports a more precise and stable voltage output.
Effective Protection Mechanism
Adopting an output voltage detection circuit, an output current protection circuit.
Two temperature protection circuits to cut off the output. Preventing from damaging the device when unexpected failures.

F1 covers two pairs of connectors, which consists of one USB and one DC plugs, and there are two 60cm x 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC plug to 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC plug in packing box to help users to connect F1 to other appliances.
